Luvo AI vs PepHop AI
Every figure checked 30 August 2026
The short version
Our verdict: it dependsPepHop is the easiest pricing page to read in this whole comparison set, and that deserves saying first. Three tiers — $4.99 for 2,000 messages a month, $9.99 for 5,000, $29.99 for 16,000 — with the unit stated in the unit you actually consume. No tokens, no coins, no conversion table.
That works out at a quarter of a cent a message on the entry tier and under a fifth of a cent at the top. It is cheap, and it is legible, which in this category is the rarer of the two.
It is also not what we sell. Luvo's chat is unlimited on every tier including free, and what we charge for is photographs. If your month is 2,000 messages and no pictures, PepHop is $4.99 and we are $0. If it is 2,000 messages and 160 pictures, PepHop does not do the second half.
What a month costs, per message
| Plan | Per month | Messages | Each |
|---|---|---|---|
| PepHop Basic | $4.99 | 2,000 | $0.0025 |
| PepHop Standard | $9.99 | 5,000 | $0.0020 |
| PepHop Premium | $29.99 | 16,000 | $0.0019 |
| Luvo Freeunlimited chat, 10 photographs | $0.00 | unlimited | — |
| Luvo Plus, annualunlimited chat, 160 photographs | $7.99 | unlimited | — |
- Our rows are unlimited, so the per-message column has nothing to divide and shows a dash rather than $0.000. Free and unlimited are not a price per message, they are the absence of one.
- Their message counts are monthly and stated as such on their own page.
- This table compares the thing they meter against the thing we do not. It is not a value judgement in either direction.

What free gets you
PepHop has a free tier. The pricing page lists the three paid ones and does not state the free allowance, so we are not going to characterise it.
Why a legible price page is worth writing about
Most of this comparison set involves an exchange rate. Tokens into images, coins into gems, hearts into everything. Every one of those conversions is a place where the shopfront number and the number you actually get come apart, and most of them are documented badly or not at all.
PepHop charges dollars for messages. You can look at $9.99 for 5,000 and know, without opening a second page, what a month costs and what it gets you — no allowance, no exchange rate, no second page. Two of the twenty-one products compared in this set manage it; the other is ClipMode, which prints a price per image next to every pack.
Our version of the same discipline is that a photograph is one credit, always, whatever it is of; a voice note is one credit; a video is three. There is no better model that costs double and no separate currency for voice. We think that is the same virtue applied to a different product, and PepHop got there first.
Sixteen thousand messages
Their top tier is 16,000 messages a month for $29.99. That is more than 500 a day, every day. It is a real number for a real user — long-form roleplayers genuinely write that much — and it is worth knowing the ceiling exists before you assume you would hit it.
For scale on our side: a month of heavy conversation on Luvo, around 1,200 messages, costs us about three cents of inference. That is why we do not meter it, and it is also why a product that meters conversation can price the meter this low. Text is cheap for everybody.
What is not cheap, for anybody, is a realistic photograph on a rented 96GB card. That is the line the two products fall on opposite sides of.
Where PepHop AI is better
Price legibility. Their page needs no arithmetic and ours needs a sentence of explanation about credits.
An entry price of $4.99 a month, which is below anything we sell.
Message volume at a scale we do not compete on — 16,000 a month is not a number we would put next to a photograph count.
Their whole product is one thing done simply. Ours is a generator, a chat and a wardrobe, and complexity is a cost the user pays.
What we could not check
Every one of these products puts its checkout behind a signup. Where a number was not readable without an account, it is listed here rather than taken from a review site that earns a commission on the answer.
- The free tier's allowance.
- Whether images are available at all, and at what price if so.
- Annual terms, if any exist.
Same girl, anywhere
Four shoots of Vera — different clothes, different city, different weather. Nothing re-rolled: every one is an edit of the first.
Those four cost four credits. Run the same test on PepHop AI — both products have a free tier — and put the faces side by side. If ours does not hold up, none of the arithmetic above matters and you should ignore this page.
Other comparisons
- Luvo AI vs Character.AI$9.99 a month to wait less. No adult content, no photographs — a different product, not a cheaper one.
- Luvo AI vs CrushOn AISix tiers of message credits, and a free tier that deletes your chat after seven idle days.
- Luvo AI vs Backyard AI$12 or $35 a month, and they tell you which open models you are talking to.
