Luvo AI vs PolyBuzz
Every figure checked 30 August 2026 · Cloud Whale Interactive Technology
The short version
Our verdict: it dependsPolyBuzz is free to chat and sells coins on top: 1,000 for €2.99, 3,000 for €5.99, 8,000 for €9.90 and 20,000 for €22.90, against struck-through comparison prices several times higher. Coins buy premium model rounds, live photos, response regeneration and unlockable content.
The price is not the interesting part. Loading their site raises a consent dialog asking to share personal data with, in their own count, 210 partners, for personalised advertising and measurement. That is how a free chat product with millions of users pays for inference, and it is disclosed properly — but it is the actual price of the free tier.
Luvo has no advertising, no ad partners and no data sharing for advertising on any tier including the free one. That is not generosity; it is that we sell subscriptions to adults and an ad network is not a buyer we could take money from even if we wanted to.

There is no price-per-unit column on this page, and that is deliberate: PolyBuzz publishes an allowance and never publishes what it buys. Dividing money by an allowance whose exchange rate is unstated produces a confident number about nothing.
- Their prices are in euros, converted at 1.08 — an assumption, not a quote, and the same rate this set uses everywhere.
- The coin rows are one-off purchases and the table marks them. They are not a monthly charge.
- What a coin buys is not published on the coin page beyond a list of what coins are for, so there is no per-action figure here.
What free gets you
Unlimited chat, a large character library, and advertising. The consent dialog on first load asks to store and access information on your device and share it with 210 partners for personalised advertising, content measurement and audience research. You can decline the optional parts; the dialog is the product's business model, stated.
Somebody pays for the inference
A free chat product with a large user base is spending real money on every message. There are three ways to cover it: subscriptions, a currency store, or advertising. PolyBuzz runs the second and third.
There is nothing wrong with that and their disclosure is more complete than most — the partner count is right there in the dialog rather than three clicks into a policy. It does mean that the free tier's price is your attention and some data about you, paid to an advertising ecosystem rather than to PolyBuzz directly.
Our free tier costs us about thirty-three cents a month per account in GPU, and it is paid for by the subscribers. That is a straightforward cross-subsidy and it is the reason our free allowance is ten photographs rather than a hundred: an advertising budget has to be sized like one.
Why an adult product cannot take the ad money
This is worth stating plainly because it explains a structural difference between us and half of this comparison set. Mainstream advertising exchanges do not buy inventory next to explicit content. The adult ad networks that will are a different, smaller market with much lower rates.
So a general-audience companion app has a funding route we do not, and it uses it. That is a genuine advantage for them and a genuine constraint on us, and it shows up in exactly one place the user can see: their free tier is bigger than ours.
It also means our incentives are simpler. We make money when somebody subscribes and keeps subscribing, and from nothing else. There is no second customer whose interests are being served by the product's design.
Where PolyBuzz is better
Free chat with no allowance and no card, at a scale we do not have.
A very large user-generated character library, plus image generation and character creation in the free product.
Mobile apps on both stores with a large install base behind them.
Their coin store is genuinely cheap per unit at the top pack, and one-off purchases suit people who do not want a subscription at all — an option we do not offer for anything except credit top-ups.
What we could not check
Every one of these products puts its checkout behind a signup. Where a number was not readable without an account, it is listed here rather than taken from a review site that earns a commission on the answer.
- What a coin buys per action.
- Whether any subscription tier exists alongside the coin store. Their navigation has a "Subscriptions" entry we could not read a price from.
- Whether the 210-partner figure changes by region.
Same girl, anywhere
Four shoots of Vera — different clothes, different city, different weather. Nothing re-rolled: every one is an edit of the first.
Those four cost four credits. Run the same test on PolyBuzz — both products have a free tier — and put the faces side by side. If ours does not hold up, none of the arithmetic above matters and you should ignore this page.
Other comparisons
- Luvo AI vs Character.AI$9.99 a month to wait less. No adult content, no photographs — a different product, not a cheaper one.
- Luvo AI vs CrushOn AISix tiers of message credits, and a free tier that deletes your chat after seven idle days.
- Luvo AI vs PepHop AI$4.99 for 2,000 messages. Three tiers, one unit, no conversion table — the clearest page in the set.
